Caboclinho do Mato is, in Brazilian folklore, a small man who lives in the woods. One of the spirits who teaches shaman apprentices, Caboclinho was an ordinary man who drank so much ayahuasca at once that he was transported to the spiritual world, body and soul, without dying.
