William Kentridge | Solo Exhibitions | Deichtorhallen Museum (Hamburg), CCCB Barcelona

Following its acclaimed presentation at Zeitz MOCAA last year, William Kentridge’s exhibition Why Should I Hesitate? is travelling to Deichtorhallen Museum (Until 18 April 2021). The exhibition focuses on Kentridge’s primary practice of drawing, bringing together his stop-motion animations, tapestries, prints and large-scale installations created over the past four decades.

Kentridge’s new film City Deep, which premiered recently at Goodman Gallery Johannesburg, is showing for the first time in Europe at Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (Until 21 February 2021). The film will be screened alongside the rest of the Drawings for Projection films, as well as several large tapestries and Kentridge’s installation, More Sweetly Play the Dance.
