Work from Shirin Neshat’s photographic series Book of Kings and Soliloquy is included in Contemporary Female Identities in the Global South, the innaugural exhibition to open at the Joburg Contemporary Art Foundation (16 September – 30 January 2021). The exhibition explores the multiple constructions of female identities by four fellow women artists whose practices are embedded in the Global South.
