William Kentridge, Alfredo Jaar, Kiluanji Kia Henda, Yinka Shonibare CBE and Mikhael Subotzky on the opening exhibition of El Espacio 23 in Miami

Time for Change: Art and Social Unrest in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection, the inaugural exhibition at El Espacio 23, features over 100 works by artists including William Kentridge, Alfredo Jaar, Kiluanji Kia Henda, Mikhael Subotzky and Yinka Shonibare CBE. The exhibition establishes the new institution’s mandate to show work that represents, in the words of philanthropist and entrepreneur Pérez, “the marginalised, the marginal and the margins (of society, of history)”.
