Solo exhibition for El Anatsui in Belgium

The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, in Brussels, hosts a solo exhibition of work by El Anatsui titled The Beginning and The End (19 December – 17 February). The exhibition considers Anatsui’s work in relation to traditional African graphical systems that are used to form patterns on textiles, and where each symbol has a particular meaning.
