Kiluanji Kia Henda on Busan Biennale and group exhibition at Te Tuhi Art Center in New Zealand

Kiluanji Kia Henda is one of sixty-five participants from thirty-four countries selected to take part in the Busan Biennale (8 September – 11 November). Titled Divided We Stand, the ninth edition of the exhibition is held at the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan and the former Bank of Korea building, featuring the works of artists such as Kia Henda whose artworks articulate alternate visions of the past and future. Concurrently at the Te Tuhi Art Center in New Zealand, Kia Henda is on a group exhibition, titled From where I stand, my eye will send a light to you in the North, which brings together artists from the Global South (12 August – 12 November).
