Kiluanji Kia Henda, Alfredo Jaar, and Grada Kilomba on group exhibition at Kadist in Paris

Affective Utopia, a three-part exhibition at the Paris branch of Kadist, will feature work by Kiluanji Kia Henda, Alfredo Jaar and Grada Kilomba (9 February – 21 April). The exhibition looks at the production of artistic knowledge and curatorial practices in relation to tensions and conflicts generated by geographical divides, cultural homogenisation and a growing need to decolonise curatorial and artistic practices. Taking place over three ‘chapters’, the exhibition will present the work of artists who offer various ways of thinking and interpreting the idea of a ‘utopia’ in contemporary art.
